First and foremost, I am dedicated to my loving wife, Priscilla, and our two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Isabella. I became a family estate planning lawyer in Florida because I am passionate about serving and educating those in my community on the need for preemptive estate planning, as well as assisting families through life’s toughest challenges.

I am NOT a traditional lawyer. I do not wear a suit and tie every day. I do not use outdated legal billing practices. I do not disappear after our contract ends. If I cannot help you, I will put you in the hands of someone I would trust with my own legal needs.

When looking for an estate planning lawyer in Florida, you should want someone you can easily communicate with and trust.

My goal is to get to know my clients on a personal, familial level, and build a life-long working relationship. I want to be the person you trust to provide you, your children and your family with guidance now and in the future. It is also important to me that my clients understand what services I am delivering and what protections they are receiving. I always aim to provide information in elementary, easy-to-understand, terms – leaving out the legal jargon and mumble-jumble.

While I previously focused my law practice on litigation-based legal disputes (i.e., going to court ALL the time), my ultimate passion is working with parents of young children and educating them on the importance of planning for their future and their children’s future.

Being a young parent myself, having seen the pitfalls of both do-it-yourself planning and a complete failure to plan, I understand the need for other parents to protect their money, property and belongings, as well as their spiritual, intellectual and human legacy.

More importantly, I understand the unquestioned need for parents of young children to have a specific, detailed protection plan in place for their children’s safety and health care in the event something should happen to one or both parents.

I have been honored with the coveted Personal Family Lawyers® (“PFL”) designation and serve as one of only a handful in all of South Florida. The PFL designation is awarded to lawyers who have received extensive and focused training in order to help clients from a parent’s perspective. We work with our clients to pass on their values and ensure their loved ones inherit what is most important and aren’t left with a big mess at the end of life.

Holding this distinction as an estate planning lawyer in Florida, I am able to provide unique and innovative estate plans – designed specifically for young families – that traditional, expensive estate planning firms cannot and do not provide.

Get in touch today to let me know what your family estate planning goals and needs are, and to learn how I can help you!

A little more background about me: I was born and raised in the blue-collar city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I developed a strong work ethic and passion for helping others. I am a huge sports fan, loyal to the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. Yes, I will be able to work with you if you support the Browns, Ravens or Flyers, but I won’t make it easy for you!

Before going to law school, I received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Hoo-hoo-hoo-Hoosiers! At IU, I studied Sports Marketing & Management and Business at the prestigious Kelley School of Business. I proudly held an executive board position in my chapter of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity and served on the Entertainment Committee for the Indiana University Dance Marathon, which raises both funding and awareness for pediatric care. I also had the privilege of interning for the National Basketball Association.

After graduating from IU, I moved to sunny South Florida and, in only three years, received both a juris doctor and master’s degree from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL. During law school, I served as Vice President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society and gained international law experience while studying abroad in Madrid, Spain.

Prior to opening my own law office, I worked at a top-tier litigation law firm where I gained invaluable experience as both a litigator and corporate counselor.

Along with being a lawyer, I am an authorized title agent associated with Old Republic National Title Company and Attorneys’ Title Find Services, LLC. Through this affiliation, I provide affordable, accommodating, and cost effect real estate closing and title services to buyers and sellers of all types of real estate in South Florida.

I have been honored by SuperLawyers and selected by my peers as a “Rising Star” (2017-2022) (*pats self on the back and smiles*).
